Sorensen signs new Stoke City contract
Thomas Sorensen has signed a new contract at Stoke City Football Club.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper has again been in great form for the Potters this season, and his new deal ensures he will remain at the Britannia Stadium at least until the summer of 2011.
"I feel as though I could go on for at least another four or five years, but when you get to a certain age, so much can happen with injuries and fitness that you cannot look too far ahead,” Sorensen told the official club website. "I am really enjoying my time at Stoke.
“With the new training ground, everything is looking up. We have a very good first team, things are going well in the Premier League and I am pleased to be part of that.
"I want to keep playing for as long as I am good enough, fit enough and have the desire. It's fantastic that I have so much to look forward to over the coming months with both Stoke and Denmark."
