Fulham Football Club are trying to land James Beattie.

The former Everton striker left Sheffield United for Stoke City last January, and his goals helped kept the Potters in the Premier League.

His form hasn’t been convincing this season and he has also had a bust-up with manager Tony Pulis, leading to speculation he could be on his way out this month.

According to Sky Sports, Roy Hodgson has tabled an offer to take Beattie to Fulham, and he will be hoping to conclude a deal before the 5pm deadline.
