Arsenal star: No malice in Shawcross challenge
09:26 AM 08 March, 2010
Arsenal Football Club’s Cesc Fabregas accepts that Ryan Shawcross didn’t intend to seriously injury Aaron Ramsey, but he believes the challenge was still dangerous.

The Stoke City defender was shown a red card when his foul inflicted a terrible leg break on Ramsey, and he has since been heavily criticised by Arsene Wenger.

However, whilst Fabregas has called the challenge dangerous, he also doesn’t believe Shawcross went out to injure the Gunners star on purpose.

"I am sure he did not want to break Aaron's leg, but the tackle was dangerous. It was terrible," he said. “When your foot is that high only he knows what he was trying to do."

Shawcross didn't mean to break Ramsey's leg, but it was still a bad tackle. Ramsey was just to fast for Shawcross. I hope Ramsey heals without any complications. He is my favorite player!!!!!!
