Jermaine Pennant is a £1.5million target for Stoke City Football Club.

The former Arsenal youngster has been plying his trade in Spain this season, since joining Real Zaragoza upon the expiry of his Liverpool contract in the summer.

Pennant has fallen out of favour at the Spanish club, though, and he has been widely linked with a return to the Premier League when the window reopens.

Reports in The Mirror claim Tony Pulis has made the 27-year-old a top target for the Britannia Stadium, with an offer of £1.5million set to be tabled.
