Marton Fulop has rubbished reports linking him with Wigan Athletic Football Club.

The Hungarian goalkeeper was linked with a loan move to the DW Stadium in the winter, and the Lancastrians are believed to remain interested in his signature.

However, Fulop insists he will not be joining the Latics, but he admits he will look to leave Sunderland when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

"There's no truth that I'll join Wigan on loan. I smiled when I saw the reports," he told NSO. "But it's sure that I leave Sunderland this summer. I'm sure that I'd like a change."
