Matt Taylor has been linked with a move to Sunderland Football Club.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been at Bolton Wanderers since joining them from Portsmouth in the winter of 2008, but some pundits claim he has failed to settle in Lancashire.

Taylor, who started his career at Luton Town, has played in all but one of Bolton’s Premier League fixtures this season, but he has been a target for the Reebok Stadium boo-boys.

Reports in the Daily Star claim Steve Bruce is looking to take him to the Stadium of Light in a £2.5million summer transfer, although Birmingham City could also be interested.
