Sunderland Football Club look likely to miss out on Ola John.

Martin O’Neill will be given cash to add to his squad at the Stadium of Light in the summer, as he looks for his side to make a bid for Europe next season.

However, reports in Portugal claim Benfica are closing on a deal for the Twente star, with A Bola suggesting a £9million move could go through when the window reopens.
