Swindon Town Football Club are hoping to push through a deal for Andy Williams.

Paolo Di Canio’s side will be competing in League One next season, having won League Two this term in his debut season in charge.

The Italian coach is now looking to strengthen his squad as he eyes a push for the Championship, and skysports.com claims Williams is a target.

The 25-year-old scored 16 goals in the third tier this season, and having rejected a new deal at Yeovil Town, Di Canio will be confident of luring him to the County Ground.
