Mancini focused on Tottenham Hotspur date
Roberto Mancini already has one eye on Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to Eastlands.
The Blues wasted a chance to draw level with the Londoners in fourth place on Sunday, when they relied on a late Adam Johnson goal to secure a 1-1 draw at Sunderland.
City still have a game in hand on Spurs, who travel to Manchester in the run-in, and this is a game Mancini believes will be crucial to their aspirations of UEFA Champions League football next term.
"I am disappointed overall, but we have one game in hand and we must play Tottenham at home,” he told Sky Sports. "If we want to reach fourth spot it is important that we win this game."
