Harry Redknapp is hopeful Aaron Lennon will play for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club again before the end of the season.

The England international has been sidelined with a groin problem since December, but he is closing of full fitness and is set to increase his rehabilitation next week.

“Aaron's raring to go and we're hoping that some time next week he'll get on the grass, he is desperate to play and we are desperate to have him,” said Redknapp.

"We take it day by day and hopefully he will play before the end of the season."
