Gudjohnsen keeps Tottenham Hotspur on track
Eidur Gudjohnsen played a key role as Tottenham Hotspur kept up their top-four push.
Spurs faced a tricky clash at Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, but goals from substitute Gudjohnsen and Niko Kranjcar, either side of a Matthew Etherington penalty, have them a 2-1 win.
"I am glad we have got him (Gudjohnsen) because every day he comes into training and he is worth watching. Believe you me, he is a fantastic footballer,” Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports.
This result keeps the White Hart Lane men in pole position for the final UEFA Champions League spot, five points ahead of Manchester City, who still have two games in hand.
