Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp admits he loves Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togolese frontman has enjoyed a season on loan at White Hart Lane, but he is due back at Manchester City in the summer despite being out of favour at the Etihad Stadium.

Redknapp admits he would love to keep Adebayor on a permanent basis, but at the same time, he insists he has no discussed such a move with chairman Daniel Levy.

"I love Adebayor. He is a real character and a good player,” he said. "We will have to see what the summer holds. I haven't spoken to the chairman about players.”
