Hugo Lloris, the Lyon goalkeeper, appears to be out of reach at £16million, whilst Internazionale ace Julio Cesar has also been linked with White Hart Lane.

However, the Mail claims AVB has now turned his attention to £8million-rated Holland ace Stekelenburg, who has failed to settle since joining Roma last year.
