Andre Villas-Boas is not satisfied with his attacking options at White Hart Lane, with Emmanuel Adebayor seemingly out of favour with the Portuguese coach.

Spurs will make cash available for their boss to spend in the New Year, and it is believed he has set his sights on £17million-rated Atletico Madrid ace Adrian.

The 24-year-old has also been heavily linked with Arsenal of late, but Villas-Boas hopes the lure of regular first team action will entice him to Tottenham.
