Tranmere will face Scunthorpe on the last day of the season needing a win to pip the Iron to the final play-off spot.

Scunthorpe's easy 3-0 win over relegated Cheltenham on Tuesday night meant the Iron swapped places with Tranmere and they will need just a point to keep Rovers at bay.

Rovers boss Ronnie Moore said, "They are at home and are expected to win. They were a Championship side last season and are expected to bounce back.

"We have nothing to lose and that may favour us."
