The Cobblers late collapse against Walsall on Saturday leaves them firmly in a relegation battle.
Five straight defeats means Stuart Gray's side are two points above the League One drop zone.
"It's no good players feeling sorry for themselves - we've got to brush ourselves down and be ready for Brighton on Tuesday," said Gray ahead of a big relegation battle in midweek.
"It's going to be a difficult run-in but I am confident we can get out of it. We are on a bad run at the moment but we've just got to grind out a victory because there are plenty of points to play for.
"It was a scrappy game, the first goal was always going to be important but we let ourselves down in the final third."
