Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have failed with an offer for Scott Loach.

Harry Redknapp was keen to land a new goalkeeper during the winter window, as he looks for someone to provide competition for Heurelho Gomes.

The Spurs manager viewed Loach as the perfect candidate, as his age would have made him an ideal long-term option had he made the move to White Hart Lane.

However, it has been reported that Watford have rejected an offer from the Premier League side, who wanted the 22-year-old on loan with the view to a permanent £2million deal.
