Arsenal Football Club are being tipped to make a move for Adrian Mariappa.

Newcastle United have already failed with an offer of £2million for the 25-year-old defender, whilst Swansea City are also rumoured to be interested.

And reports now suggest Arsene Wenger has also set his sights on a deal for the player, who has spent his entire career to date with Watford.

It has been claimed that the Hornets want as much as £4million for Mariappa, but The Sun believe Arsene Wenger could get his man for little over half this valuation.
