Alex McLeish will be handed a healthy transfer kitty to boost his Blues squad in the New Year, following the takeover of the St Andrews club by Carson Yeung.

However, whilst fans may be expecting some big-name arrivals in January, the Mirror claim one of his top targets is West Bromwich Albion star Dorrans.

It is believed the City manager will make an offer of £1.5million for the 22-year-old Baggies midfield player, who has two Scotland caps since making his debut earlier this year.
