Cristian Zapata has been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.

The Colombian international has been linked with a move to England in the past, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all credited with an interest.

However, the 25-year-old former Udinese man is currently plying his trade in Spain, where he suffered relegation with Villarreal last season.

The Birmingham Mail, though, claim Baggies manager Steve Clarke is interested in Zapata, who can play in either fullback role, and is plotting a loan bid.
