Striker to be shown West Ham United exit door
06:00 PM 09 March, 2010
Guillermo Franco is set to be shown the exit door at West Ham United Football Club.

The Mexican international was signed by the Hammers in September, when he arrived on a free transfer following the end of his contract in Spain with Villarreal.

Franco signed a twelve-month deal in England with the hope of earning a longer stay, but The Telegraph claim the Londoners are set to show him the door.

The 33-year-old has failed to impress during the course of the season, in which he has made fifteen Premier League appearances and scored three goals.

Nonsense... why in the hell would the let Franco go? He has exactly what West ham needs. He participates in every aspect of the attack. I suppose board members must be betting on Macarthy getting fit. But, the truth is that even if Macarthy does get fit (which i doubt) he will not be able to provide much to the team. C'mon Zola! don't let the suits make the football decisions....

Sully must have picked up the brain damage that appears to infect board members at West Ham lately, whats the betting Macarthy will not play more than two more games this year?.Why do they not let the manager manage I am sure Gianfranco Zola knows a bit about the game.

Franco has had a couple of bad games but his workrate is fantastic and he is a great target man. He hasnt played with any of the new strikers and Cole doesnt gel with anyone up front, thats not Franco's fault, thats Carlton Cole, but given the choice between Franco and Macarthy id take Franco anyday. Sully has paid way over the top for his choice in Macarthy and as he signed him for longer on a ridiculous wage deal he needs it to look good. Macarthy will prove to be another financial sucker for the club, injured after 30 minutes, not seen since and was never match fit in the first place. Sully will get stick for Macsucker if he keeps sounding off in the media about others.
