Birmingham City unfazed by Hammers interest
Alex McLeish is confident of keeping Liam Ridgewell and Sebastian Larsson at Birmingham City.
Both players are out of contract in the summer, but the Blues have secured clauses in their deals which allows them to trigger a twelve-month extension.
Former St Andrews owners David Gold and David Sullivan, now at West Ham United, are believed to be exploring legal loopholes which would allow them to take the duo at the end of the season.
However, McLeish doesn’t seem bothered by the speculation, although he does recognise that Sullivan oversaw the initial contracts for both Larsson and Ridgewell.
"This man (Sullivan) did the contracts in the first place," he said. “If someone wants to challenge it (the contracts), it will be four or five years before it is resolved."
