Joe Cole could be heading back to West Ham United Football Club.

The England international began his career with the Hammers before leaving for Chelsea in 2003, helping the Blues win three Premier League titles.

Cole moved on to Liverpool in 2010 but endured a miserable campaign on Merseyside, which led to him being loaned to Lille for the current season.

The 30-year-old is due back in England this summer, and if West Ham clinch promotion to the top-flight, Sam Allardyce will look to take him back for the campaign.
