Roberto Martinez insists Victor Moses won’t be rushed at Wigan Athletic Football Club.

The youngster is rated as one of the brightest talents in English football, and Latics beat off a host of competition to take him from Crystal Palace in the winter window.

Moses played fourteen minutes of the 1-1 draw at Sunderland on Saturday, and Martinez insists he will continue to introduce him to the Premier League slowly.

“We have to allow Victor to feel himself around the place and remember he is a very young man," he said. “The gap is huge and it can maybe take longer than expected.

"Victor relies on his talent - he is a very skilful footballer - and it's going to be just a matter of time before he feels himself on the pitch."
