Jose Callejon is in no rush to join Wigan Athletic Football Club.

The Espanyol striker claims Roberto Martinez wanted to sign him during the winter window, but he has revealed he is perfectly happy to stay at his current club.

"I know the two clubs were talking about me on the last day of the winter market, but ultimately did not reach any agreement," said Callejon. “But I repeat that I am very happy here."

The 23-year-old forward learned his trade at Real Madrid’s youth academy, but after failing to impress at the Bernabeu, he moved to Catalonia in 2008.
