Wolves youngster not looking at loan option
George Friend has set himself a double target for next season, to play in the Premier League and make the England Under-21 squad.
The left-back, signed from Exeter City last summer, has had to wait patiently for his Molineux chance, a situation likely to be excaberated by promotion to the Premier League.
“If I’m not playing next year, then it has been suggested I could go out on loan, preferably to a Championship club," he said, quoted in the Express & Star.
“But hopefully I can get myself established in the team. If I really push, then maybe I’ll make the England under-21 squad.
“I am really just trying to see how far I can go.”
