Wolves make final £5million Hunt bid
01:00 PM 01 February, 2010
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have made another bid for Stephen Hunt.

Mick McCarthy has made the Republic of Ireland international his top target this month, although the player only signed for Hull City in the summer.

Three bids have already been rejected by the KC Stadium club, whose manager Phil Brown stated on Sunday he expects to keep hold of the midfield player.

However, it is believed Wolves are not ready to give up just yet, and have lodged a final bid of £5million in an attempt to persuade the Tigers to release Hunt.

Unlike many Wolves Fans I am quite positive of us staying up. The January Transfer Window tend to be quite rough, because many players are in teams in which the fighting relegation or in Cup Competitions, that is why we could not get anyone in. This January Transfer Window should be kicked into touch permanently. fletch
