Wolverhampton Wanderers take Slovenian goalkeeper
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have signed Alijaz Cotman.
The 16-year-old has impressed Mick McCarthy during a trial spell in the Black Country, and the Wolves manager has swooped to sign him permanently.
"The fee was not big as we wanted, but we had to offer the boy the chance to move forward," said Triglav director Miran Subic. "We are proud to sell one of our players to a Premier League side."
Cotman, a Slovenian Under-17 international, almost joined Italian outfit Empoli last year, but the two clubs couldn’t agree a deal and the move was scrapped.
