Brian Laws admits Burnley Football Club’s latest defeat is devastating.

The Clarets are relying on their home form to take them away from the relegation zone, but they suffered a 2-1 loss to fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

This defeat keeps them in the bottom three, three points adrift of safety, with eight games of their debut Premier League season remaining.

“It's devastating because we've obviously got to rely on the fact that we pick up points particularly from teams around us,” Laws told Sky Sports.
