Stefan Maierhofer will spend the next month of the season at Bristol City Football Club.

The Robins were disappointed not to keep Chris Iwelumo from Wolverhampton Wanderers after a loan spell, but they have instead landed his Molineux team-mate.

Maierhofer, an Austrian international, has made just eight appearances in the league for Wolves this season, and he will hope for more experience with the Championship side.

"This is a good move for Stefan and offers him the chance to enjoy some regular football," said Mick McCarthy, manager of the Premier League team.
