Mancienne seals Wolverhampton Wanderers return
Michael Mancienne has sealed his return to Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The defender, who can also play in midfield, has spent the majority of the past two seasons on loan at Molineux from parent club Chelsea.
Mancienne again looked set for a role on the Blues bench at best had he stayed at Stamford Bridge, so he has instead joined Mick McCarthy’s side for a third spell.
"Wolves have been very good to me in the past and I'm delighted to be back,” said the 22-year-old. "In a way it feels like I'm coming back home and I'm really looking forward to the season.
"There were other alternatives, but the gaffer here has been really good to me and had faith in me and helped me improve my game. That played a big part in my decision."
