Birmingham's signing of Roger Johnson will earn a handy spin-off for the central defender's former club.

Cardiff City accepted a third offer from St Andrew's on Wednesday night and will now pay the Chairboys a 15% sell-on clause for a player they signed for £275,000.

"The key thing is that every player has his price," said Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale after sanctioning the deal.
