Blackpool Football Club are closing on Matt Phillips.

Ian Holloway has struggled to make the signings he wants this summer, although he has added a few new faces to his Premier League squad.

The Bloomfield Road club are said to be closing on England Under-19 international Phillips, who is currently contracted to Wycombe Wanderers.

The League Two outfit have revealed they would not stand in the way of the winger should a top-flight club make an approach to sign him before the deadline.
