Wycombe manager Peter Taylor saw his promotion-chasing side draw their second consecutive home match on Tuesday night against lowly Barnet.
Wycombe missed out on rising to second place and remain in the play-off places.
Taylor said, "There is a definite fear about the place. We are in a situation that should be pleasant, but we have turned it into a pressure situation.
"There are a lot of nerves among the players. The way things have been going, some are going onto the pitch in a negative frame of mind - and that is something I have to put right.
"We did not look good at all in the first half. I thought we improved a lot in the second half, but not enough to deserve to win.
"We just need to get a result. I cannot fault the effort of the players in any way. They are working very hard - they are just working nervously."
