Let 'em all come down to The Den

Although, many Millwall fans have complained about the lack of atmosphere at the new ground in Zampa Road (our home since 1993), away fans have delighted in the safety afforded by the sturdy girders and solid surroundings.
It’s a far cry from The “Old” Den. In those days, few away fans were plucky enough or stupid enough to cheer the goals scored by their heroes. And that was even after segregation!
Nowadays, contrary to popular opinion, it is possible to come out of The Lions’ Den with all your physical features intact.
The reputation of Millwall fans is grossly exaggerated and an away trip is a relatively safe experience. For the tinderbox occasions where emotions are running high, the responsible policing and stewarding found at The Den is second to none. After all, we’ve had years of experience. Mistakes were made in the distant past and the only trouble (allegedly attributed to Millwall fans) reported in recent years occurred miles from the ground.
There may be still be a lingering feeling of intimidation in the air, but this is just the ghost of the more violent past. If you listen hard you may hear the wailing of the Cold Blow Lane lost souls.
