Directions to the City Ground

In the car the best way to the City Ground from the South or North is to leave the M1 at junction 26 and take the A610 towards Nottingham and then signs for Melton Mowbray. This will bring you out onto Trent Bridge where you can see the ground.
From the East take the A46 which will bring you straight onto Trent Bridge from the other side. From the West the A50 is the best bet as it is a quick road and not too heavy with traffic. At the M1 junction take the A456, which takes you into Nottingham, and follow the river.
Car parking around the ground is very good. There are numerous car parks close by but my advice is to avoid them. This is simply because you will be expected to pay £3 or so which is unnecessary when there is so much street parking available near to the ground.
By train the City Ground is only a 10-15 minute walk away. As you come out of the station turn left. You can then either take the immediate left and follow the road down to the bottom where it meets the dual carriageway. Turn right and the Ground is about half a mile on the left hand side. You will pass Meadow Lane (home of Notts. County) on the way. The alternative route is to turn left out of the station and then straight on over the lights. Keep walking down and cross the road where you will find a pedestrian underpass. This takes you into the Meadows estate and you can cut through here to bring you out on Trent Bridge. Both routes are roughly the same length, but if you choose the Meadows way it might be advisable to cover your shirt if you are a visiting supporter.
