Southampton goalkeeper Michael Poke has rejoined Torquay for a third loan spell at Plainmoor. 23-12-09: Torquay have agreed a deal with Southampton to extend the loan of Michael Poke. 11-6-10: Goalkeeper Michael Poke will join Brighton on a free transfer after agreeing a one-year deal with the club. The 24-year-old will complete the move on 1st July when his current deal at Southampton expires. Poke signed a pre-contract with the Seagulls on Friday afternoon and is set to link up with the rest of the squad for pre-season training at the end of the month. "We are delighted to bring a goalkeeper like Michael to the squad," Brighton manager Gus Poyet told the club's official website. "He is young, and has the kind of personality that we are looking for. "He will come here to challenge for the No.1 spot, and that is the type of player we want - one who will be challenging for a starting place every week."
