Derby County have sealed the signature of Everton starlet James Vaughan. 11-3-10: Championship side Leicester have signed James Vaughan on loan from Everton. The 21-year-old has agreed an initial one-month deal with the promotion chasing Foxes. 13-4-10: Leicester City have extended the loan deal of Everton striker James Vaughan for the remainder of the season. 8-9-10: James Vaughan is set to move from Everton to Crystal Palace on a three-month loan deal. Sheffield United and Derby were also thought to be interested in a loan deal, while Blackpool tried to sign the player during the last transfer window. Beating off the competition, Palace boss George Burley is glad to have the 22-year-old at Selhurst Park. He said: “We think James is a very good player and we are hoping to finalise the move today or tomorrow. “It’s no secret we have been looking for a striker and I think James could be the answer. “He will be the final player we bring in, after this deal we will work with what we’ve got.” 26-1-11: Everton striker James Vaughan is going on loan to Crystal Palace.
