8-3-10: Aldershot have allowed fellow midfielder Lewis Chalmers to join Oxford United on loan. 30-6-10: Macclesfield Town have snapped up Lewis Chalmers on a one-year contract after the midfielder was released by Aldershot. The 24-year-old was not offered a new contract by Shots boss Kevin Dillon at the end of last season after finishing the campaign on loan at Oxford United. Chalmers has now secured a deal with Macclesfield and is determined to feature prominently for Gary Simpson's side next term. He said: "I'm only 24 so I have a lot of playing left to do and I'm pleased to be moving back closer to home. "I like to be on the ball and play, I'm aggressive on the pitch and very vocal. "I want to play every game I can depending on injury and suspension."
