August 2011: Leicester City have completed the signing of full-back Paul Konchesky from Liverpool on a three-year contract. The move ends an unhappy year at Anfield for the defender in which he was criticised for his performances and was loaned to Nottingham Forest. Konchesky was a signing of former Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson, who had previously worked with him at Fulham, but he did not feature in the plans of Kenny Dalglish. Sven Goran Eriksson, though, is delighted to have signed a player who he selected for an England debut against Australia in February 2003 before picking him for the Three Lions once more for a friendly against Argentina two years later.
