22-9-11: Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson is delighted to have landed Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara on loan until the end of the season. Eriksson told his club's official website: "Diomansy is a quality striker and will be a great addition to our team. "He brings with him pace, good technical ability and Premier League quality. "I am sure he will settle in well and be an exciting player for the club." Kamara added: "The gaffer [Fulham boss Mark Hughes] tried not to play me because I was at the end of my contract. It's good for me to be here. "At Fulham I was the second best goalscorer when I left, but the manager did not want to play me. It was his choice. "I'm so happy to be here. It is a massive club with a good manager. When he called me I was so pleased," he said. "He called me 10 days ago. I am also a friend of Yak and I thought, 'why not, it is a good challenge'. "I think I can do something for this club. I have to play good football and score goals now that I am here."
