4-7-10: Morecambe have signed striker Phil Jevons on a permanent deal following his release from Huddersfield. Jevons enjoyed a highly successful loan spell with the Shrimps last term and has now put pen to paper on a two-year deal. The 30-year-old, who scored 19 times last season, said: "I really enjoyed my football again at Morecambe last year. "I think we surprised a few people by getting to the play-offs and I think we can carry on that success this season. "I'm looking forward to playing at the new stadium and being part of what should be an exciting time for the club."
