23-7-10: Greek side Olympiakos have confirmed the signing of Liverpool winger Albert Riera. The Spaniard has inked a four-year contract with Olympiakos, ending his two-year stay at Anfield, for a fee in the region of £5million. Riera joined the Reds from Espanyol in 2008 for a fee of £8million and went on to make 40 league appearances, scoring three goals. Last season, Riera fell out-of-favour with then-manager Rafa Benitez, with his last appearance for Liverpool coming in March. "Olympiakos announce the acquisition of Liverpool's Spanish international Albert Riera," read a statement from the Greek club. "The player has signed a four-year agreement."
