The 31-year-old, who was an unused substitute in the Millers` 3-2 League Two play-off final defeat to Dagenham on Sunday, made seven appearances for Chris Sutton`s side during a month-long loan spell at Sincil Bank this season.
Broughton becomes Lincoln's fourth signing of the summer after Joe Anyon, Mustapha Carayol and Josh O'Keefe.
18-2-11: AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has signed Drewe Broughton on loan from Lincoln City until the end of the season.
Terry told the official website: “I am delighted to have signed Drewe who I’ve been aware of for some time.
"He offers us different options – he is a big strong lad who wins headers in and around the box, creating chances for others, and he holds the ball up very well.
"In effect, he offers us a Plan B."
Broughton added: “I know that some fans won’t like the fact that I played for them [Milton Keynes Dons], but I’ve talked to Terry Brown and the club officials.
"All I can say is that I now understand the AFC Wimbledon story and the club’s heritage and I want to be part of its return to the Football League.”
