28-7-10: Stockport have re-signed striker George Donnelly on loan from Plymouth on a six-month deal. The 22-year-old made 19 appearances for the Hatters in a similar spell last season after joining in January, scoring four goals as they were relegated from League One. Donnelly becomes new manager Paul Simpson's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Mark Lynch, Barry Conlon and Jordan Rose. Simpson has previously admitted that he needed several players to be ready for the new season in the fourth tier of English football, with Donnelly unlikely to be County's final signing before their first game of the campaign against Southend on 7th August.
