Malaga have signed Roma's Julio Baptista €2m. Besides signing the ex-Arsenal star, the Qatari-owned club have already been busy on the transfer front, clinching deals for Bayern Munich's Martin Demichelis and Atletico Madrid pair Ignacio Camacho and Sergio Asenjo. Board member Jose Carlos Perez, a close aide of the owner, Sheikh Al-Thani, confirmed the Baptista deal: "He has signed for two-and-a-half years and the transfer is €2million with Roma." Perez added: "Camacho will remain for the season and four more. There may be an option to re-purchase. "In principle, there is also an agreement with Asenjo."
