4-11-10: Sunderland striker David Healy has moved to Doncaster Rovers on a one-month loan deal.
31-1-11: Sunderland striker David Healy has joined Rangers on loan joined until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at Sunderland this summer, so could make the switch permanent as a free agent at that point.
"I had a trial with Rangers when I was 14 but I couldn't sign back then as I was a little bit too young," Healy told the Scotsman "But it's been well documented that I am a Rangers fan and so are all my family.
"My dad comes on the boat to watch a lot of the games with his friends so it's a boyhood dream for me. I'm thrilled to be here. Steven Davis and I come from similar backgrounds in Northern Ireland, he's a Rangers fan and his family support the club.
"He has managed to realise that dream and I must admit I was always a bit jealous when Davo, Kyle Lafferty and others joined the club. In the back of mind I would always say to myself 'I wish that was me one day' and thankfully my time has arrived and I'm delighted.
"Hopefully I can come in and do the job the manager and his staff want me to do. I want to impress them, the supporters and the board and hopefully I can stay a bit longer."
Gers boss Walter Smith added: "He is an out-and-out goalscorer.
"He is a lad who was keen to come to us and we are delighted to have him. He gives us something extra in and around the penalty area. We hope to make one more addition to the squad, a defender, but we'll just have to wait and see if we can do anything.
