25-1-10: Millwall have snapped up Peterborough United striker Shaun Batt on a loan deal until the end of the season.
2-6-10: MILLWALL have confirmed they have agreed a fee for striker Shaun Batt - sealing a return to South London for the lanky forward.
The former Fisher hitman came on loan to The Den in January and scored three goals in just 10 starts, including a stunning clincher in the 2-0 victory at Leeds in March.
And after Peterborough and Millwall swapped places in the league, Posh director of football Barry Fry has reluctantly agreed to let the 23-year-old leave.
Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler confirmed: "The two clubs have agreed a fee but we are now in the process of discussing personal terms with the player and his agent.
"That could take time some time, because both are away and the three-day Football League Conference starts on Sunday, which could also hold things up."
15-6-10: Millwall have completed the signing of striker Shaun Batt from Peterborough for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old spent the end of last season on loan with the Lions and played a major role in their charge to promotion from League One.
He has now penned a three-year contract and is delighted to be staying with Millwall.
"It was an easy decision to make," said Batt.
"Things went well for me as soon as I came here and I've had great support."
