17-1-11: Aston Villa transfer target Darren Bent wants to leave Sunderland now that he has become aware of the Birmingham-based club's interest in him.
The 26-year-old striker has been the subject of an £18m bid from Villa and now is being tipped to move on during this transfer window.
Sunderland have reluctantly accepted Bent's transfer request and Villa's offer, paving the way to a move to Villa Park.
The fee could rise to £24m, depending upon certain conditions being met.
