League Two title challengers Bury have swooped to sign highly-rated Manchester United youngster Sam Hewson on loan, after gaining clearance from the Premier League.
The loan deal, which will see the midfielder stay at Gigg Lane for the rest of the season, was initially completed on Monday, but the Shakers were awaiting clearance to rubber-stamp the move.
